Adam Jiwan is an owner-operated investment holding company, Ridge Road buys and builds small and mid-sized companies on a global scale. Adam together with his partners Brian and Michael, he honed the reputation of the group for combining investing acumen with an operational experience, perfecting Ridge Road own-it-forever approach to business development. Adam’s career began at The Blackstone Group and Goldman Sachs and after that, he joined Soros Fund Management at Soros. Adam directly reports to the Chief Investment Officer and drove distressed debt, risk arbitrage investment and global special situation. Adam was a partner at TPG-Axon Capital Management from 2006-2012 where he serves as CEO of TPG-Axon in Europe and co-CEO in Asia, plays a key role a key role in developing the global presence of the 16 billion dollars global hedge fund. Adam brings to Ridge Road extraordinary background and depth of knowledge in global investing when he invested in the business in over 30 countries and with experience managing investment teams on-site in New York, Hong Kong, and London. Adam founding board member and/or seed investor of a number of successful companies including Avant Inc. which was ranked by Forbes as the sixth-most promising company in America in 2015; Europe’s leading student finance company, Future Finance Loan Corporation; TSX-listed alignvest Acquisition Corporation; Rebel Technologia, Brazilian consumer finance platform; a New York-based education finance platform, Climb Credit Inc.; and London-based wealth management AI software platform, Arkera. Adam currently serves as the leading legal industry SaaS business as the co-Chairman of TrialWorks and also as a Chairman of Future Finance Loan Corporation. He serves as a director of Alignvest Acquisition Corporation and Avant Inc.
Adam’s Outside Of Work
He enrolled at Harvard College in 1997 and studied economics. As a scholar throughout his time in college at John Harvard, Adam earned the Detur Prize, an Aga Khan Scholarship, and a HEPCOE Scholarship before graduating with a bachelor of arts in 2001. He earned his undergraduate degree from Harvard College where he remains the co-chair of the 2001 class gift and leadership committees.
